Students will explore runtime options, administration and maintenance using IDE and command line tools, the monitoring of the runtime, service assemblies, lifecycle modules, alerting and resource management.

FR-431 OpenESB Development

This course will provide the students with a detailed introduction to the OpenESB tooling and component and service libraries. The main goal of the course is to give students an understanding of essential OpenESB development features. The course focuses on the areas that are important during a service deployment.

Students will use IDE tools to create end to end real world integration scenarios. The creation of components fundamental to the realisation of composite applications are explored in labs. Students will use technologies such as WSDL, BPEL, XSD and XSLT to implement business logic typical of real world use-cases. This functionality will then be assembled and deployed using the IDE tooling and also command line interfaces.
