OpenAMP
A cost-effective platform for dynamic authentication and authorization, with the possibility to issue, administrate and evaluate X.509 certificates. Based on the open source projects OpenAMP, EJBCA and SignServer
Key features
The OpenAMP can provide the following services:
- Authentication with eIDs at different levels
- Authorization
- Single sign-on
- Identity federation
In addition to the above basic authentication services, using X.509 certificates also enables a range of other complimentary services:
- Strong authentication
- Signing of web forms and local documents
- Signing of documents using central server generated signatures
- Verification of signatures
- Validation of certificates (OCSP/CRL)
Why OpenAMP
- Extend your AAA capabilities to handle strong authentication with a CA of your own
- Use OpenAMP to issue certificates that can be used to authenticate, sign and encrypt
Roadmap
ForgeRock is committed to the continued open development of OpenAMP and aims to develop the product to enrich its functionality.
