OpenAM User Group
Meeting
In cooperation with The Open Web SSO Project (OpenSSO), we wish to invite you to one of the OpenSSO User Group meetings in North Europe. We are gathering individuals and organisations who work professionally with OpenSSO in North Europe to attend half a day of high quality content and networking.
To ensure this we have drawn up an agenda with some familiar names as presenters, who themselves have worked professionally with some of the largest OpenSSO solutions in Europe.

| 9:10 | Monitoring OpenSSO Express 9 OpenSSO becomes a critical component of a production environment therefore it is important to predict the status and to collect statistics about the service. OpenSSO Express 9 introduces the Monitoring Service, which maintains collected information in MBeans that can be made available to network management tools using adaptors or connectors In this session we will see how monitoring works in OpenSSO and what can be monitored. A simple demo about the service will be shown. |

| 9:55 | The Entitlements Service in OpenSSO Express 9 OpenSSO Express 9 introduces fine-grained authorization. Known as the Entitlements service in OpenSSO, this takes the existing policy framework and rebuilds it to cover authorization all the way down to field-level. This session showcases what can be done with Entitlements, and how they are managed through the new administration console. |

| 10:45 | Secure API authorization with OAuth and OpenSSO The OAuth protocol enables a website or application to access protected resources from a web service through an API. The API does not require users to disclose their service provider credentials to consumers. |

| 11:40 | Using the OpenSSO Express 9 Java Fedlet for SAML2 Federation has gone from a vague idea to a practical reality over the last few years. As more and more entities are using federation standards like SAML v2 to enable single sign-on, the need for low-threshold implementations increases. The Fedlet is a lightweight component that you can send to your partners to help them get up and running in a SAML v2 federation within minutes. See the Fedlet in action. |
