A passion for digital trust, customer engagement and consumer privacy led Fran to ForgeRock. As CEO, Fran brings 20+ years experience building and leading high-performing enterprise security and identity management teams. Fran joined ForgeRock from Symantec, where he was EVP & GM of the company's $2B+ Consumer Digital Safety segment; a continuation of his success as senior vice president of Authentication and Identity Management Services. He joined Symantec in 2010 through the acquisition of VeriSign's security business. Fran holds a B.S. in industrial engineering from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA.
CFO & EVP Global Operations
John has 20+ years leading finance organizations. He has spent his career working with high-growth software companies; ranging in size from start-ups to large public companies. John has overseen FP&A, Accounting, Legal, HR, Recruiting, Sales Operations, Facilities, and IT functions. He has done extensive work in the area of capital raising, both debt and equity, and has successfully completed and integrated multiple transactions in software M&A. His prior employers include Rearden Commerce, Siebel Systems, and UBS Financial Services. John has a BA in Economics from Stanford University and an MBA from Berkeley, Haas School of Business. John is an avid skier, loves travel and is working on his golf game. Like most other things at ForgeRock, John had to sign off on this paragraph.
Chief Revenue Officer
Pete has 20 years of experience in software and security, and joined ForgeRock after a nine year stint at Oracle, where he most recently ran the high-growth cloud security and manageability business across North America. Pete was responsible for Sales, Partner/Alliance relations with leading systems integrators such as Accenture, Deloitte and PWC, and Customer Success for the cloud security, identity and access management and data security portfolios. He also served as chairman of Oracle’s Chief Security Advisory Board. Pete came to Oracle via the acquisition of Sun Microsystems, where he ran security and integration software sales teams.
Chief Product Officer
Peter Barker is chief product officer at ForgeRock, driving the company's global product vision, design and development, and leading product management and all of engineering. Peter joined ForgeRock from Oracle, where he served as senior vice president and general manager of the Identity Management and Security business. Based in Austin, Texas, Peter previously held executive-level positions at Good Technology, Motorola, FedEx and other companies.
Evelyn Acosta Behrendt
Chief People Officer
Evelyn Acosta Behrendt is the company’s first Chief People Officer, leading the human resources organization and people-focused priorities. She brings more than 20 years of HR experience, including the previous 15 years at Symantec where she served as Global HR Business Partner for the Consumer Business Unit. A resident of Los Angeles, Evelyn received her undergraduate degree from Loyola Marymount University and an MBA from Pepperdine.
Chief Information Officer
David is Chief Information Officer (CIO) at ForgeRock and will advance the vision and transformation of the company’s enterprise systems and IT operations. David brings more than 25 years of experience to ForgeRock, having worked for many large enterprises, including Apple, Hitachi, Virgin Media/O2, NetApp and Quantcast. As the CIO at Quantcast, David built the global IT organization, driving process improvements and transformational projects, securing the enterprise and supporting its global geographic expansion. David received his undergraduate degree from De Montfort University, UK and resides in the Bay Area, CA with his wife and two daughters.
Chief Marketing Officer
Atri has more than 30 years of experience in marketing at a variety of technology companies from start-ups to large well established companies. He most recently ran his own consulting company, helping clients develop and implement their go-to-market plans. Before that he was CMO of leading cloud security company, Zscaler where he rebuilt its marketing team, developed and executed their go-to-market strategy and helped the company prepare for its IPO in early 2018. His experience also includes leading marketing and business units at enterprise security companies such as Symantec and Secure Computing (acquired by McAfee) and marketing technology companies such as Act-On Software and Responsys (acquired by Oracle) where he was on the founding team.
Chief Technology Officer
Eve is a globally recognized strategist, innovator, and communicator on digital identity, security, privacy, and consent, with a passion for fostering successful ecosystems and individual empowerment. She has 20 years of experience leading standards such as SAML and User-Managed Access and publishing research in the field, and has also served as a Forrester Research security and risk analyst. As CTO, she is responsible for the Labs team investigating and prototyping innovative approaches to solving customers’ identity challenges, along with driving ForgeRock’s industry standards leadership. She hopes her duties still leave time to contribute to the rock ‘n’ roll outfit ZZ Auth and the Love Tokens.
Chief Legal Officer
Sam leads ForgeRock's worldwide legal organization, and has more than 27 years of legal experience - mostly at cloud, consumer tech and IoT companies. His previous experience includes over a decade at Salesforce where he helped the company prepare for its IPO and was involved in scaling the legal team to accommodate a $4B revenue run rate. He also served in the legal department at Oracle, and as general counsel at Jawbone and most recently as general counsel at C3 IoT. His focus on cloud-driven customer success brings immediate value to ForgeRock.
SVP, Core Platform Engineering
Jamie Nelson is senior vice president of Core Platform Engineering for ForgeRock, and leads the development team for the company's award winning Digital Identity solutions. Before ForgeRock, Jamie spent 10 years at Sun Microsystems in a variety of engineering roles for the Access Management portfolio. Jamie is an avid golfer and fly fisherman, and a dedicated family man spending as much time as possible with his wife and two daughters.
SVP, Global Head of Engineering
Chris Lyon brings more than 25 years of experience leading innovative, high-performance engineering teams. Chris joins ForgeRock from MuleSoft, a Salesforce company, the leading platform for building application networks. As Senior Vice President of Engineering, Chris was responsible for introducing new capabilities into the platform while expanding its global availability. Prior to joining MuleSoft he led engineering teams at Lookout, Jive Software, and Mozilla.
SVP, Global Business and Corporate Development
Ben is responsible for corporate development, global strategic partnership and technology ecosystem efforts. A member of the CEO staff, Ben drives and evangelizes ForgeRock's innovation agenda and product direction. Prior to ForgeRock, Ben led Technology Evangelism for VMware's End-User Computing business unit, where he was engaged in the product roadmaps and acquisitions that lead to the creation of VMware Workspace One. Before that, he worked at Novell where he was instrumental in the creation and growth of their Identity Management platform.
EVP Global Customer Success
Steve has spent over a decade providing consulting, training, and support to many of Sun’s key accounts and evangelizing the open source and open standard story. His professionalism and dedication to outstanding customer service are what makes ForgeRock the industry leader in customer support. An ardent computer scientist, he can often be found sitting at his laptop with his two labradors, Peach and Pelham, and his springer spaniel, Porter.
SVP, Commercial Strategy and Operations
Tim is responsible for Commercial Strategy and Operations at Forgerock, which includes managing Renewals and Expansion, Outbound Sales Development, Business Operations, Sales Enablement, Pricing and Analytics, as well as Cross-functional Program Management. He brings a wealth of understanding for how to design, run, and improve operational functions and processes by using data to make better decisions. His previous experience includes leading end-to-end design and transition from an on-premise business model to cloud/subscription at Symantec.
