Allan Foster Will Talk ‘Power to the People’ at UnSummit Singapore

Trust conquers all. And, if we aren’t on guard, it may endanger us all, too. As digital transformation spreads worldwide, more consumers are sharing more information than ever. That’s prompting regulatory bodies to look closely at how enterprises are handling this data. At the Singapore Identity UnSummit on September 19, our own Allan Foster will shed light on the ramifications of the oncoming sea change in privacy laws and consent requirements as they explore Power to the People: GDPR, Trust and Data Privacy.

New regulation can provide a new beginning

In particular, Allan will explain how strict new laws such as the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) should be top of mind for many enterprises, but they’re not necessarily detrimental.  As Allan will point out, addressing GDPR the proper way, especially by using a methodology that “leans in” to gain consent, can actually benefit everyone concerned by forging more robust bonds of trust between companies and consumers. The ForgeRock Identity Platform™ can help put transparency and control into the hands of the consumer and ultimately nurture exactly the trusted relationships that differentiate an organization from its competition, especially in the eyes of regulators.
