Well, a lot has happened since the last time I posted a blog, and Yeah, My Bad, I should be much more diligent about doing this.
So here goes. We have had a very eventful summer, with lots of interest in
ForgeRock, and the pace still as hectic as it has been since Jan.
We have a new US employee, Peggy Harrington, whom many of you already know from her work in Sun. Initially she is getting the partner program into shape. I was attempting to do that, but barely keeping my head above water. Peggy is building out the Education Partner program as I write this, and working on our new Consulting Partner program for rollout in September. Feel free to contact Peggy for help with opportunities or just to say hello!
In other news, Lasse Andresen, our CEO, is planning on spending a couple of weeks a month over here in our US Headquarters in Vancouver WA, to help coordinate US sales. This is great news, since we are snowed under with the calls you guys are making, and being able to follow up on them, is going to make a world of difference.
As the first part of this, Lasse and Hermann, (our global director of Sales) will be in the US next week, for 2 weeks. We will be mainly in the Bay area for the first week, and have several customer visits planned already. The second week, we are going to be traveling to customers elsewhere in the US.
On a different front, I have been spending a lot of my time in the code. We have had several major bugs fixed over the last few weeks, and some fairly major clients needing fixes. Steve and I have been working away, and I am writing more code now, than I have in quite a few years!
We also have several items on the roadmap, so if you feel like you would like to tackle some interesting problems, and not insignificant programming tasks, please contact me, and get involved in the community. We have lots to do
