2013 was a milestone year for us – we launched the industry’s first identity relationship management (IRM) platform, announced a game-changing OEM agreement with salesforce.com, and hosted our first series of Open Identity Stack Summits. Oh, and we’ve grown sales by 800%, nbd.
Our customers have repeatedly chosen us because of our cutting-edge approach to IRM. 2013 customer wins across North America and Europe, including GEICO, Telefonica Solutions, Toyota, Yellow Pages and more, paint the picture of how we’re impacting businesses across numerous verticals at a global level. Our sales growth is still split 50/50 between North America and EMEA. We significantly increased our customer base over the course of the past year, with the average deal size up 166% year-over-year.
Since our inception, we’ve focused on solving customer challenges around the modern Web. We built our products from the ground up to solve these complex issues – a clear differentiator from our competitors. In offering the only open source platform on the market, we’ve been able to quickly respond to emerging demands, allowing us to stay ahead of the curve. And, as the modern Web has evolved, we have watched our customers’ needs evolve, too. Our products, platform, and customer focus are the reason we’ve been able to respond so effectively as the IAM market shifts from traditional, employee-facing IAM solutions to solutions for building secure, online relationships with customers and partners.
2013 was an exciting year, highly reflective of everyone’s hard work – from our internal teams to the ForgeRock community. And we’ve already got a jump on 2014: CIO Magazine has recognized us as a “top 10 cloud security startup to watch in 2014,” and we’ve already announced our next summit, IRM-focused and taking place June 3-5 at the Arizona Biltmore.
