Stop #2 of Identity Live 2017 - Düsseldorf

Stop #2 of Identity Live 2017 was in Düsseldorf, Germany! The room was filled with customers, prospects and partners who came to hear from engaging analysts, identity experts, and ForgeRock customers, such as Amer Sports and HSBC. The common theme of the day was customer identity, with sessions covering the latest trends in privacy (particularly GDPR), security, the internet of things and other business-critical topics for successful digital transformation.

Check out our session recordings and the Storify below for a live recap of the event. My favorite part: the future of identity looks like ordering drinks at a soccer game from a chip in the sleeve of your jersey, hitting the slopes on connected skis, shooting hoops with a connected basketball, and much more.

If you're located in Asia Pacific, don't miss the next stop of Identity Live in Sydney on August 15th! And for the technically minded, there's the UnSummit the following day.

Who Is Hermann Wimmer?

Who’s Hermann? Hermann is the International GM here at ForgeRock having worked more than 20 years in digital transformation and big data at companies like Teradata, NCR, and Bull. At ForgeRock, he drives customer value for customers and prospects in EMEA and APJ. When asked for a fun fact, this is what he said, “I am German, so nothing is funny about me…” On the contrary, we’d say he’s pretty funny!
